Part One
- The LST begins as one species, and remains that way until about 5 million years ago, where it begins to bottleneck. This is about the time that organisms are starting to evolve due to the changing environment. Speciation occurs at around 4 millions years ago to the LST, or Dermocheyls coricea. The initial split causes two subspecies to be formed: Dermocheyls coricea jalindea and Dermocheyls coricea fishrea. Overall, the jalindea eventually forms into the Dermocheyls darlaemadia species, which goes extinct at around 1.8 million years ago. The fishrea variation becomes the Dermocheyls diddongeron species, which is thriving and still present today.
