Environmental Changes
- Over 10 million years, many changes occurred in Arda that affected the Leatherback Sea Turtle. First of all, the water rose by several hundred feet due to polar ice caps that melted. The water temperature also increased due to global warming. This in turn most likely produced more precipitation because more water was in liquid form after the polar ice caps melted.
- As was stated earlier, more precipitation and higher temperatures were a result from the changes over 10 million years. Because the temperatures were higher, the water temperatures also rose.
